Once a Mustang, Always a Mustang!

Although the Mercymount Country Day School was closed for Spring of 2020, we were still here - our teachers were still teaching; we still gathered for Morning Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance every day. In Fall of 2020, we opened for the school year with students fully in person, five days a week, but with health safety protocols in place.  We still look for ways to nurture the curiosity and faith of our students and their families, while supporting them in the uncertainty of what the future holds.  But the last several months have brought challenges to the Mercymount community.  Some have lost jobs, some have closed or drastically scaled back businesses, and some are trying to work from home while also parenting children.  Our staff are facing some of the same challenges within their families.

You can help us make sure that our families don’t have to choose between paying their bills and keeping their students at Mercymount.  You can make sure those among us aren’t trying to keep going while worried about paying their mortgage or buying groceries. You can remind our community, once a Mustang, always a Mustang.

Your gift to the Mustang Resilience Fund in any amount will help keep our community strong.  And if, like many of our families and friends, making a gift isn’t something you’re comfortable considering, we welcome your prayers for our continued work.  And we hope that you know that you are in our prayers as well.
